Check out the links below to engage in some of the many interactive projects I have art directed. Most of these projects I also designed, animated and illustrated at least in part. Drop me a line to get the full skinny...

March of the Penguins Game - I recently had the extreme pleasure to work with Say Design on this online game in support of the DVD release of National Geographic's March of the Penguins movie. I created all art and animation for the game. Enjoy!

Six Guns: Conspiracy - This is a 3D first-person shooter designed for the casual game market soon to be available for demo and purchase on Miniclip.com. As Team Leader of the Games & Animation Group at Rare Method, I wore many hats in the concept/pre-production and production phases of this project including, but certainly not limited to story development, script writing and editing, directing creative, art and animation, project management and providing some of the art and animation as well. The game is due to hit portals around the world in December of 2005.

The Most Wanted Gunfighting Game - The predecessor to Six Guns: Conspiracy,
'Most Wanted' started out as a simple advergame to help market Rare method's annual Calgary Stampede Party. I licensed it to Miniclip.com where it was played over 3.2 million times in its first three weeks and remained on the top ten list for over two months. My role was that of creative director, project manager, character designer and modeler and animator.

Wonderville - This has been a labour of love for the past four years. A multi-award winning educational website all about elementary school science, Wonderville features an eclectic cast of 3D animated characters who engage children in learning in a fun and often funny interactive world. I was responsible for the original concept, art, character design, 3D modeling and both 3D and Flash animation for most of the activities and interface. I could not have done it all myself... many others contributed as well.

Here are some of the individual activities from the world of Wonderville that I helped to create:

Energy Street Activity

Aboriginal Ways of Knowing: Phases of the Moon

Aboriginal Ways of Knowing: Tanning a Hide

Medieval Levers

How Things Fly

S-Team Heroes - An initiative of the Government of Alberta, this is a fantastic website that helps to teach elementary school children how to deal with bullying. I was responsible for the initial concept, character design, interactivity design and comic book layout and pencils.

Glenbow Museum Blackfoot Exhibit - The northwestern plains is the home of the Blackfoot-speaking people. I worked with a Blackfoot Advisory Committee to develop this intriguing website that enables the exploration of the Blackfoot way of life and how they interact with their world and the people around them. I was primarily responsible for art direction and animation, directing a team of animators and creating art and animation myself.

The Go-Show - Cora Aronoff is a dynamic entertainer who has created a unique traveling game show you can have at your next party or corporate event. I created this website in its entirety and managed to win an award from Applied Arts Magazine.
